Several "PETER ELDER" researchers are hoping to solve the
mystery about parents of Jesse ELDER, who was said to be grandson of
PETER ELDER, often included in their paternal lists.
However, descendants of Jesse now show DNA results
with "E" Haplogroup, possibly German DNA, not matching any "PETER ELDER" kits.
One theory says Jesse may have been a maternal grandson.
We are still trying to find his parents.
Now have 3 Y-DNA kits with early ancestor descriptions:
"Grandfather Peter's will places Jesse in William Elder's charge"
Citation: Jesse Elder b. 1788 NC d. 16-SEP-1859 Pulaski Co, KY
for 3 kits:
1. kit #457006 Jesse Elder (b.1788 NC) grandson of Peter Elder
13 24 13 10 16-18 11 12 11 13 11 30
2. kit #17290 Jesse Elder ( b.1788 NC) grandson of Peter Elder
13 24 13 10 16-18 11 12 12 13 11 30
3. kit # 13301 Jesse Elder b 1788 Surry Co, NC -Grandson of Peter
13 24 13 10 16-18 11 12 12 13 11 30
Viewing each column for comparing with "PETER ELDER" DNA category,
Finding 8 markers different out of 12, from all "PETER ELDER" kits.
"PETER ELDER" kits show these markers:
13 23 14 11 11-14 12 12 12 14 13 30
Markers: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th are different for JESSE.
Still looking for Jesse's father. _________________ Nancy Elder Petersen
