Hi Robert,
Thanks for posting your Ancestry Tree for viewing. — As Host of the ELDER DNA project, I recognize many of the 133 names and locations from your ELDER entries. Links and files about those names are posted on our ELDER webpage with FamilyTreeDNA — at — http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Elder

For example, relatives with Y-DNA kits in our project from Jefferson Co TN are listed in the book “FAMILIES NAMED ELDER IN EAST TN” posted and scanned on Google DOCS in full text with permission of the author, Virginia Knight Nelson — at — http://tinyurl.com/2ekrbmb

Y-DNA Ancestors from that book also match my brother’s Y-DNA kit #10042 — Y-DNA kit #322208, #13706, #23663, in the “FRANKLIN COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA” category of our RESULTS CHART — at — https://www.familytreedna.com/public/Elder?iframe=yresults

Other names and locations in your ELDER list are from different DNA categories in the Chart, such as “GLASGOW” — “MAINE” — “J2 MARYLAND/DORSEY” — “PETER ELDER of VIRGINIA.”

For example: Y-DNA kit #129171 on ELDER DNA project Chart: -- for -- "James McCORD ELDER 1822-1905" is in “GLASGOW” category. -- So he doesn't have paternity match with my brother's Y-DNA kit #10042 or with names from "Jefferson Co TN" book.

Always happy to talk to ELDER researchers. — E-mail me anytime!
