This Bible was sold on eBay in June of 2003 and the eBay seller put up the following description of the Bible and its condition:

1811 Bible w/ Grippen Family History
The Old and New Testaments Translated Out of the Original Hebrew and Greek with the Former Translations Diligently Compared and Revised, together with the Apocrypha Done By Special Command of King James ! of England, Philadelphia, 1811, 1089 pages. Contains three Family Record pages with history for the Grippen family from 1759 to 1831. The full leather covers have some edge and corner wear, scuffing and soiling. The title page has tears and wrinkles.... The rest of the pages are intact, having light edge wear, some foxing and some staining. The Bible appears to be complete and in very good condition for its age. The pages are a light grey in color. There are no illustrations.
